Studio Visit: Allison Rohland

Allison Rohland’s work represents the integration and celebration of the fragmented parts of ourselves. Since 2014, she’s instructed artists with intellectual disabilities and Autism, and been honing her own craft. Her body of work consists of emotive abstracts using bold texture and color through mixed media.

“My studio is nestled in a waterfront neighbourhood in Seattle, Washington, USA. It’s a loft apartment – I converted the entire first floor into my painting studio. It neighbours the Puget Sound which is home to views of epic mountain ranges and marine life – it’s truly a place that feeds my soul and inspires me creatively.”
