This is a work that will give you different feelings and impressions every time you look at it. Therefore I placed Kate Cox’s Tension Rising in a frequently used and seen transition area. I loved using both curvilinear forms and right-angled walls together in this space. For me, curvilinear forms reflect the inner world and intuition, while rectangular forms reflect reality. As this work beautifully blends both, I wanted to create a space that was equally as complex, visually and thematically.
