I love the story behind Meli Axford’s work and wanted to reflect this in the interiors. I tried to create a space that references both the old and the new, with seriousness as well as childlike joy. We experience many emotions in our lives in many periods – this is the rhythm of life. The rhythm and design of this place was formed by the combination and repetition of these emotions in Axford’s piece.
