With Bridie O’Brien’s contemporary landscape painting I wanted to place it in an equally contemporary and layered space. I think this piece of art deserves to be at the heart of the home and I wanted to reflect this specifically. I thought it would be nice to look at this abstract landscape from a calm and peaceful place such as an elegant dining room. I wanted to feel the mind-opening effect of the abstract landscape in such a place, where food is celebrated by all.
