I love adding works of art that represent elements of nature to contemporary spaces. This space is feminine, curvy, round and affectionate, evoking mother nature, and attributing her connotations to the graceful lines in the blooms in Jennifer Tucker’s Carnations. Placing this work within the bedroom was important, not only because of the work’s beauty, but also because in this space it becomes a constant, comforting reminder of life’s gentler parts.
