Ones to Watch: Marketa Kemp

THE ART EDIT TEAM PRESENTS THE ARTISTS ON ITS RADAR RIGHT NOW.

Melbourne-based artist Marketa Kemp has a passion for printmaking. In particular, she is drawn to monotypes, a kind of one-off print, because of their uniqueness and unpredictability. Marketa finds herself inspired by landscapes rich in atmosphere, hidden life and mystery. She aims to make the viewer feel something – to evoke emotion, whether it be happiness, melancholy, reflection or a distant memory.
