Art Mood: Tracey Clark

Meet Melbourne-based interior designer, stylist and trend forecaster Bree Leech – this issue’s guest Art Mood designer.

The black and white palette of Tracey Clark’s artwork and its classic mood inspired this interior, which is largely also monochromatic. I drew the soft palette for the room from the subtle warmth in the artwork. The delicate details and dreamlike quality of the painting inspired curvaceous furniture forms with classic nuances alongside transparent flowing textiles. The room’s simplicity allows the artwork to be the focus.
