ART EDIT: What is your studio life like at the moment?
AMBER: My practice has always been quite isolating and process based like most artists. I’m also quite a home body, so it hasn’t been that much of a big game changer for me, however, I’ve been homeschooling my son so I’ve found it a great time to connect with him and teach him some new creative skills while I work, teaching him has also renewed my motivation in certain areas. I’ve always loved colour and I’ve found myself mixing every colour from scratch and making colour recipe charts which has been loads of fun and has expanded my palette.
Also, with everything being so digital I’ve found myself naturally working on a new Virtual Reality Video project. It’s been an interesting yet innovative time.
