Vika Fifita is a painter currently based in Melbourne. Bright, patterned and unapologetic, her paintings are personal and an immediate response to her day-to-day interactions.
Currently my studio is located in my very small apartment, wedged between my couch and my music gear. But it’s okay, I don’t mind pokey as long as there is natural light and a kettle! I also like to work on the floor, so I don’t need much space. In my studio you will most likely find, paints, ink, coffee mugs, jars, wine, plants and records, with some eighties trash playing in the background. My studio is a space where I can relax, think and document freely.
