Designer’s Brief: Ree Hodges

Industry-leading interior designer Fiona Gould creates a bespoke look for Ree Hodges' work of art.

“The immediate sense of calm that this abstract piece by Ree Hodges provides would be perfect for a bedroom. I would pull out the richer dusty pink tones through a linen bedding set in Dusk from Cultiver Linen. The Leeroy armchair from Jaran in Sepia which is a dusty red tone also draws out some of the deeper colours in the piece, enticing you to pause and discover the different layers of the artwork. The Burie lamp from Sophie Davies adds a sense of sophistication and warmth to the space and I’d finish with a white textured fabric benchseat at the foot of the bed to pull the tones together. The space would have a sense of dreamy softness.”
