How wonderfully Carmel Boone’s abstract painting has captured a moment in time! It instantly suggested to me a reset or recheck of oneself within a fluid moment, being the perfect piece to consider in an entry hall where transition is central to the space. With a piece as energetic as this, there needs to be only the simplest collection of curated items to create the perfect scene. A Christophe Delcourt Liz Console, with its details so sublimely considered in creation, could be paired with an ikebana-inspired floral arrangement and ceramic vase such as the Kohiki Bud Vases by Toru Hatta from DEA store, and an offset Talisman pendant light from Apparatus could be hung above a hand-spun woollen Samarkand Segovia Runner from Robyn Cosgrove Rugs, to provide soft ambience for Boone’s earthy artwork.
