I love this piece. It has so much movement and life in it, encompassing the narratives and journeys of George Tjungurrayi‘s ancestors. I immediately felt this piece would speak beautifully being hung on timber, inspired by Tjungurrayi’s lines. I then wanted to play on the idea of structure with bold yet quiet architectural details. I’ve used a nostalgic timber wall panelling paired with furniture and lighting pieces that, while quiet, hold their own in form.
