ART EDIT: What is your studio life like at the moment?
KRISTEN: Like most artists, my studio practice hasn’t changed much in the midst of COVID-19, we are used to working in isolation.
I am lucky that quite recently I took a road trip to Orange and Carcour, and before that to the area around Dayelsford in Victoria, which gave me plenty of inspiration for my painting.
The one thing I do miss is not being able to visit my family home in the hunter, which is where my inspiration for the Australian landscape really began.
Can’t wait to get back there again soon once this is all over…
