Studio Visit: Tyler Dan

Raised in southern California where she started developing her interest in drawing, Tyler Dan now resides in Merewether, NSW, Awabakal Country. Her work explores natural forms, architecture, textiles and sculpture in an attempt to avoid symmetry yet search for balance.

“I am fortunate to have a home studio that sits above our garage. It is spacious and light-filled, looking out onto a beautiful tree-lined street. The more space I have the more creative and expressive I feel. Being free to make a mess and play my music loudly sets my heart on fire!” – Tyler Dan
