Over the years, the artist has progressed from creating pieces out of rustic earthenware to delicate porcelain, all the while developing his own unique glazes. The artist spends much of his time by the beach and this preoccupation shows in the rich gradients of his work, which range from the moody purples of a stormy beach to the crystalline blues of the sea in summer, all finished to a high shine that elevates these pieces far above the purely decorative.
