DIRECTOR - Flinders Lane Gallery, Melbourne.

I always enjoy a painterly approach to a subject and here Frank has a lovely loose stroke across the whole canvas. The thick daubs of white highlights and the suggestion of reflection bring the whole piece together nicely. It’s a gentle, contemplative piece.

This emotive work is intriguing. The overall palette is pretty andsoft, which contrasts with the lone figure’s vivid choli. This is a popular artwork size as it positions well over a bed or lounge regardless of ceiling height – a great piece if you’re looking for an original artwork with a soft mood and classic appeal.

FAIR DIRECTOR, The Other Art Fair

You need time and space to contemplate this work. I would like to see it in a living room, library or study, on a wall big the work breathe. The isolated figure within the ethereal landscape conjures up feelings of solitude and would suit a space where one can stop and reflect.
