Best of Fine Art Drawing: Boyd McMillan

THE INCREDIBLE FINE ART DRAWERS YOU NEED TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.

Artist Boyd McMillan draws as a way to interact with the world. All his works are made on site in some way – whether drawn completely in the moment or sketched out in ink and charcoal and finished later in his studio. This in situ practice captures moments of beauty with a strong basis of observation. Boyd is influenced by a number of artists including Guo Xi, Sotatsu, Hokusai, Matisse, Margaret Preston and Fred Williams. The artist’s works share his perception of the beauty and experience available in the natural world.
