THE INCREDIBLE BEACHSCAPE ARTISTS YOU NEED TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.
While artist and gallerist Wayne Malkin has previously favoured a looser, more expressive painting style, agradual sharpening of technique and brush control has since led to paintings with more emphasis on subject, composition and colour combinations. Wayne’s most recent output has centred around his Turbulence series, depicting crashing waves and surf. Turbulence has proved popular with art buyers, with works finding homes across Australia and further abroad. With more than 40 works in the series to date, Wayne describes the possibilities of this subject matter as “endless, with different times of day and light, plus the enormous variety of waves and turbulent water the ocean has to offer”.
