Description
There is a captivating rhythm in chaotic water/river flow, which in itself is orderly by nature. That is what I aim to capture, the ephemeral meditative aspect of nature. I have always been influenced by chaos and order. Chaos theory encompasses fractals, patterns, and repetitions. My current art practice focuses on the subject of water. Buddhism teaches the mind when thoughts and emotions are taking over, to be a river, to let the mind become the flow of the water. I hope my paintings reflect those meditative qualities.
