We didn’t have a pool growing up. We went to the public pool daily in summer. As soon as we got there we’d run over the hot cement and jump in. My girls, and pretty much every kid from the neighbourhood who comes to swim at our place, love jumping in and that’s what this painting is about. The rush of jumping into the water and coming up with a smile!
