This Diptych is part of the ongoing Women’s Worth series. The piece visualises the still-relevant figures in the 1989 Guerrilla Girls’ work Do Women Have to be Naked to get into The Met? On the canvas on the right, 85% has been painted, equal to the percentage of nudes hanging in the Met that are female. The canvas on the left, where less than 5% has been painted, represents how many of the works in the Met have been authored by women artists. This is a 2 part acrylic on linen piece with both panels measuring 80 x 60cm each. It is pictured here framed in raw oak.
