Description
This painting is inspired by the sensations of walking in the bush and by the beach in my local area of Corinella, in Gippsland in Victoria.
It is an exploration of my interest in capturing the moment of transition between formlessness and form. This interest stems from theories in Quantum mechanics which concludes that our observations might actually contribute to the creation of physical reality. I find it amazing that before a scene is observed and becomes “something” it could be “anything”. There are infinite possibilities in that moment”.
I have created the painting in the hope that you will contemplate its meaning and connection to the ‘bigger picture’. It is made so that you will notice different forms and shapes in the painting at different times. This means that the work keeps giving.
